This report outlines the hours and expenses per item at customer and project level. You can use this report, for example, when you want an overview of the travel expenses that were incurred for a project in a specific time period.

In the start screen you can filter on the following fields:

The first column shows the date when the hours or expenses have been posted. The second column shows the employee who worked the hours or incurred the expenses. The third column gives a description and then displays the number, the price and the amount. The price is the average sales price. The report groups item type per project, for it differentiates between hours and expenses, where first the expenses and then the hours per project are shown. Then it groups items per project.

First a total is calculated per item, then per type (so the total amount of expenses and the total number of hours) and finally these totals are added.

The bottom line adds up all end totals of the selected projects.

This report is especially used to report on items. This way, by filtering on the ‘Absence’ item, you can, for example, see how many absent hours there were in a certain time period.
